vx flight
in aviation, pilots routinely use what are called ‘v speeds’ as airspeed references. an example, and routinely heard v speed, is vr which is rotation speed during takeoff. there are dozens. vx is the v speed for best angle of climb. it is also used to denote a flight where the entire crew of a flight is female. vx denotes this because of every woman has two x chromosomes.
the flight to hawaii had didn’t have a single male in the c-ckpit or galley – it’s great to be on another vx flight.
