the statement that “people who don’t actually use a p-ssword regularly should not be able to pick said p-ssword”.
the -ssumption being that one would pick a p-ssword at random… or worse, from some “hip” list of l337 phrases because they want to seem relevant. typically this is also done without consideration for being able to reproduce the p-ssword later on.
it employee: “what p-ssword should we use for our cisco routers?”
marketing employee: “how about ‘brokdedz0r-‘ ?”
it employee: “sorry, we’d be breaking the warner axiom by letting you pick. what the h-ll does that even mean, anyway?”
