Warren Minute
a warren minute is a measurement of wasted time, being the number of minutes expended by an individual to read an email of no company relevance sent to all staff in the company, multiplied by the number of people who read it.
particular to an australian it company, one of the directors being phil warren.
an example of a warren minute would be an email sent to all staff by another staff member pointing to a web site, movie site or game site that wastes the employee’s time. if this took 2 minutes to read, and was sent to 200 staff, the number of warren minutes wasted would be 400, or 6.67 warren hours.
