phrase used to describe an instance when one or more persons are engaged in a back-and-forth trial of insults, usually based on appereance (i.e. clothes, facial features).
guy 1: look at dem pants man! dem things is faded!
guy 2: oh d-mn! check out yo teeth! they throwin’ up gang signs!
