originally discovered in germany, wellensittich means budgie. can be used in common speech like ‘oh wellensttich’ (long for oh well) and ‘your such a wellensittich!!’ and ‘hi wellensittich!’.wellensittich is used to make someone feel more intellectual, by using a foreign language in speech. also used in the remix of ‘truly scrumptious’ from chitty chitty bang bang.
