whoapatch
1. a patch of hair that has broken off or is missing from the rest of your head. typically after a perm has burned it off, and it has to start growing over again. so embarr-ssingly it will be shorter than the rest of your hair. it results in forcing you to cut your hair off to be the same length, or resort to wearing a weave or wig.
2. also -ssociated with your hair, but it causes others to say, “whoa, what happened to your hair, it’s f-cked up.”
after getting a bone straight perm on her hair, and not washing it out properly, keisha’s hair broke off. for 5 months, she had to wear a weave to cover up the whoapatch in the back of her head. otherwise, she would have looked janky.
