Whoopty Did
the opposite of whoopty do or woopty doo.
a phrase or saying used to genuinly acknowledge something positive in the world. something valuable, impressive, game changing and truly useful from one’s point of view. for example a good idea, an a+ in school or the nice looking features of another person.
in response to a colleague’s good idea the manager said “you go! that’s exceptional. whoopty did!”
when the child came home from school and said “mom and dad, look i got all a’s!” the father then responded by saying “whoopty did! proud of you son!”
