that feeling of euphoric glee at finding a bottle of wine that is being sought for special brand name, vintage, kind, or even price – any of which may make that particular bottle of wine to be very rare and/or desirable
the origin of this word came from an incident when i was in a wine store looking for “vampire” wine, and the shopkeeper handed me a bottle of “werewolf” wine; my sister, with me at the time, commented that i must have been having a winegasm, i looked so pleased…
