Wingbiter
wingbiter is the shortened form of wingbiter-rftcc; wingbiter-race (ride) for the cheese chunks. this term refers to a specific club bicycle ride that meets in new hartford, connecticut on friday evenings. the wingbiters (cyclists) ride the hills of the surrounding area and then meet at a local bar where chicken wings with chunky blue cheese dip are consumed, along with various beverages especially beer. over the years the food choices have broadened to more common pub food. french onion soup is popular in the winter when the wingbiters hike with snow shoes in lieu of cycling on the snow and ice covered roads.
n.b.-many wingbiters also ride on the dumpster ride earlier in the week. dumpster ride is defined elsewhere in urban dictionary.
