wozzing or to woz is to deliberately, knowingly waste time when you have actually got something rather important to do. examples include: tidying your room when you should be revising for an exam or randomly deciding to finally back up all your photos onto cd when you’ve got a presentation for work to prepare. origin: acronym w.a.s. “work avoidance strategy”.
