a “super station” 100,000 watt radio station located in cd. juarez chihuahua mexico that broadcasts on the a.m. dial at 800 megahertz.the format included a.m.rock,fundementalist christian programming & regional mexican music.
in a clear crystal night xerok am could be heard all across the southwestern united states. thier famous trademark is a cannon blast that is heard on occasion hence the nickname el canon or the cannon.
back in the mid 1970’s i always listen to xerok in el paso texas since it was a hot station playing all the top 40 hits at the time.
