ya queer?
a question asked by those who would like to know whether or not a person is queer (-ssuming the definition referring to gender and/or s-xual orientation). the main goal of asking this way is to avoid formal usage of words to ensure a casual setting.
martin: you know man, i’m really into musical theater.
isaac: really! ya queer?
martin: lol, no, but thanks for asking in such a casual way. if i were i would have appreciated that even more.
