yuppiteria
a place — usually a dining establishment of some kind — where yuppies tend to go to eat/drink/socialize…though others go there as well. such places tend to have haute cuisine and vary in price from slightly overpriced to outrageously overpriced, but are frequently worth it.
i don’t go to the intermezzo often because it’s a crowded, overpriced yuppiteria, where people sit around on the patio talking about yuppie things and showing off how sw-nk they are… but they have nine kinds of hot chocolate on their recipe and an entire wall of desserts. sometimes you just gotta have it!
