zu angen
a common phrase among teenagers and younger adults for drinking a lot of tequilla. its mostly used in and around the german city düsseldorf by students of the local university.
the term originaly derives from a girl named “angelina” who was commonly known to love to drink tequilla.
hey i´m going to be angen this weekend. wanna come?
– hey ich hab bock am freitag mal richtig zu angen. bist du dabei?
man, i got so sh-tfaced while angen yesterday.
