this is an adjective named after the ident-ty of a deeply disturbed internet troll, david ajemian, whose pattern of incessant behavior manifested as outright stalking by seeking fame via the motif of internet trolling of a celebrity. ajemian was a catholic priest known as “padre009” on nbc message boards in which he was trolling the nbc boards with bizarre taunts and name-calling of conan o’brien (i.e. “corncob o’brien”) before ajemian started to track down the whereabouts of o’brien in different parts of the world–including his workplace–to deliberately try to cross paths with o’brien and deny being a stalker and hope to laugh it off like they were old friends.
there is a fine line between writing that is orwellian or kafkaesque and trolling that is ajemianesque.
