a diagnosis for a type of person who has exceedingly high standards set by her parents. these are the types of people that will usually cry over missing half a point on the test. a huge hint that someone may have asian girl syndrome is their lack of self-esteem, knowing how to play at least two instruments (most commonly violin and piano), and taking an outside sport like tennis or swimming.
