a digital serf is a person who lacks property or wealth, and yet has access to a wide range of internet enabled devices such as smart phones, tablets pcs, gaming consoles, laptops, and net books.
like previous generations of the working cl-ss who lacked property and means, the digital serf still finds distraction from their dreary life, but unlike their historic comrades the opiate of the m-sses today is the every present internet delivered on cheap, and often portable devices.
