feed the machine
the act of putting calories in your body, usaully through food or drink, after you get done working out.
after a heavy day at the gym jason is going to feed the machine.
“feeding the machine” is when you put money in a vending machine or arcade game or any other coin operated device and you get “ripped off”.
jaime:”awww, dude, this pinball machine just ate my last quarter.”
pete:”looks like you just feed the machine, man.”
