when you drink too much of a carbonated beverage and the gases get stuck in your throat, causing you to feel an intense pain as the gases force their way back up
it’s a really hot day so you grab a sprite and take a huge gulp. then, you feel it lodge in your throat as one giant burp that won’t come out. it just sits in your throat for a while and then painfully forces its way out. you think,” ohhhh, i’m glad that’s over. the fist of god really hurts!”
