friend third wheel
like third wheeling a couple but so much worse because they’re not actually in a relationship. you find yourself drifting apart from your best friend as they get a new bff even though they pretend you are still friends and try to keep up the pretence by inviting you with them sometimes. but even when you are with them you feel like they would be happier without you there. you wish your old bff friend would notice how you feel and you would become as good friends as you were before but inside you know that will never happen.
-you, your old bff friend and their new bff are walking together. there talking about plans for next weekend and what they did last weekend; neither of which you were are invited to- i feel like a friend third wheel right now.
