a “judas worm tongue” is a conniving, weasel–like traitor who is a backstabber and has troll-like characteristics. many times, this person is a co-worker, dysfunctional family member or neighbor.
judas is from “judas iscariot” the buddy and 13th student of jesus of nazareth who handed him over to the authorities to be executed for a bag of silver. worm tongue is from that nasty “sh-t stirring,” “dark friend” character in “the lord of the rings” by j.r.r. tolkien.
