Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger
j-panese super sentai series that aired in the early 90’s. basic principle- an evil witch called bandora is released and so a group of 5, later 6 heroes are given dino bucklers, which they use to turn into the zyurangers, to fight the monsters bandora sends down. generally considered a less good series in the 3 decade old franchise. zyuranger (pr-nounced juuranger) was the basis of the saban 1993 ‘mighty morphin power rangers’ which utilised the footage of the suits and mecha, splicing it with american filmed actors and often mediocre dubbing jobs to create a cheap kids tv show that too this day is hugely admired by all ages.
