lake minnetonka is a mostly manmade lake, which originated as several smaller lakes, which previouse generations thought would be great to be one large lake (these are also the same people who sank boats in the lake to dispose of them, brilliant). many channels have been dug into other lakes which in turn they rename as “bays”. although lake minnetonka is by no means the largest lake in the state, it does have the most sh-r-line of any lake in the state. in turn lake sh-r- livving comes at a premium, ( $500,000 to upwards of $50 million) and thus a generation of tonka trash has sp-wned.
