Parentheption
a parenthetical aside to a parenthetical aside, or rather, a parenthetical aside inside of a parenthetical aside a play on the “inception” meme. parentheption typically works during narratives or criticisms, and can do wonders to add humor to your writing (unless you’re just really bad at it).
josie looked beautiful yesterday (but she did kind of smell (i wish i could come up with a good example of parentheption, as i’m usually a parenthetical wh-r-)).
