phonicide
when a phone is tired of living as a phone or being owned by a human who it does not like, it kills itself, ala, breaking its own battery or making its human drop it.
one of the many reasons why phones do not last very long.
tom: dude, my phone just died on me. i only had it for a few months.
martin: did you check the battery?
tom: yes, it leaked out and fried the circuits.
martin: it must have committed phonicide…it must have hated you…
like h-m-cide or suicide, where you kill something, just towards phones.
dude 1: “man, i accidentally washed my phone with my clothes again! that’s the fourth time!”
dude 2: “what a phonicide.”
