accompanying a gift purchaser to a store prior to the actual purchase of gifts as a way to ensure desired gifts are purchased and avoid mishaps on the actual day of celebration. the “recipient” selects, tries on, and gives priority rating to a selection of merchandise. the “gift buyer” writes down all details of selected merchandise; size, color, priority, etc. and goes back unaccompanied at a later date to purchase gifts.
