sense of entitlement
the idea that one has a right to be given something which others believe should be obtained through effort.
politicians cut welfare and raise taxes but their own sense of ent-tlement leads them to award themselves huge pay increases and enormous pensions for a few years’ work.
a mental disorder shared largely by inner city residents. symptoms usually include the following:
1: usually desires to live month to month living off a welfare check without looking for work.
2: usually panhandles around banks and downtown areas anyone they see (especially caucasians) for money under their warped belief that caucasians owe them everything for the past and present.
panhandler: sir, can you give me a dollar?
me: you have the sense of ent-tlement disorder!
