Stitch Rivet
twisting and turning the element of sound to forge the melodic invocations of the new face of rock music, st-tch rivet blasts away from the standards that define today’s hard rock scene. from captivating introduction to perplexingly climactic solos, the group introduces the listener to a plane of enlightenment comparative to no one else. performances are no different. with energy levels peaking, horns and woofers blasting, and fans in a frenzy, st-tch rivet becomes unstoppable.
formed in march of 2006, the group consists of five members; gene booth, chad (wick) hurlburt, nathan lewis, tyler halsey and kevin allen. bands come and go, but one thing is for sure st-tch rivet has made an impact on the rock scene in kentucky. they have the potential to explode nationally with their debut alb-m. several of their songs on radio stations throughout eastern kentucky. their original music has them performing at the best venues in lexington such as a1a, the cadillac ranch and the kentucky theater.
two of the many potential hits on the alb-m,frankenstein and day by day have attracted the attention of showhouse productions llc resulting the filming of two music videos. st-tch rivet has also performed alongside national acts such as drowning pool, bobaflex, seven mary three and nappy roots.
the group was also included high on the roster of bands performing at the first annual gateway music festival in september of 2007 and at the 2007 poage landing days festival in ashland, kentucky.
with blues, metal, and jazz as a basis for their influence, they compose their songs with simple complexity to give a warm depth to the creation. the short time the band has been together, the members have developed rapidly into a machine of music precision focused on timing, audience demographics, and good times.
