The Confident Wave
unlike the casual wave, the confident wave is done to a complete stranger and is a 4 part process with coinciding hand gestures and facial expressions that is carried out with such confidence that it -ssures the stranger that you really do know who they are. if done properly the wave will generally throw off a person’s entire day and have them asking the question? “how the h-ll do i know that person?”
ben: hey man, that person you just waved at seems super confused and they keep mumbling to themselves.
john: that’s understandable…i just gave them the confident wave, they won’t recover for a while.
