tony hawk is probably the most popular skateboarder of all time. he is noted for inventing over 80 tricks, and the most popular one of these is the 900.

many claim he’s the best skateboarder, but most skaters believe that no one deserves such a t-tle since there are so many guys who are as good as tony that it’s impossible to make a comparison like that.

he’s also the founder of the tony hawk foundation, an organization that raises money and builds skateparks for kids in need of them.

some hate him because he endorses mainstream companies, while others are die hard fans. any way you look at it, you have to admit that he’s for real and he’s highly responsible for the way skateboarding is percieved by the public today.

i suggest reading his autobiography for more info, as this definition does not do him justice.
tony hawk became a pro skater when he was 14. he was an outcast, as all skaters were of that time period. he skated because he loved it. little did he know at the time, his persistence through the death of skating in the early 90’s and all of his other struggles would end up rewarding him with an amazing career.
nickname: “chairman of the board.” started his career out with skateboarding and even made his own company; birdhouse skateboards and 900 films. vert skater, goofy, and created over 50 skate tricks used today and the technique vert skaters use today to catch air: ollieing off coping instead of early-grabbing. he’s also a household name thanks to the tony hawk video game series.

when liquid feces becomes pasted along the rim of a toilet. similar physics of the brown matter are seen with tony’s wicket skateboarding moves back in the late 1990’s. not to be confused with the “upper-decker” (cr-pping in the tank) or the “ground-rule double” (cr-pping on the seat and letting the p–p fall in).
