A nigga was
a phrase used by black folk as a subst-tute for the word ‘i’ when talking in the first person. occasionally, one will point at himself as he uses the phrase.
1) tom – “yo, chris. where was you at last night?”
chris – “a n-gg- was high as h-ll, i couldn’t even make it out da’ house”
2) marcus – “justin, how you done got dat bruise on ya face?”
justin – “i fell on the way back from da club…keep in mind a n-gg- was f-ckkkked up!”
