a long, drawn-out, extremely frustrating conversation in which one party constantly interrupts, denies plain facts in evidence, refuses to engage in questions or dialogue, and exhibits a derogatory and/or condescending att-tude toward the other. the experience leaves the aggressor smugly self-righteous, and the aggrieved banging his or her head against the nearest hard surface.
man, i just got out of an art robinson interview with my hr rep. i can’t believe i still have a job.
