borg drone
1. a collective proper noun for employees of a suffocating and controlling heinous corporate collective, usually a big insurance company, functioning as drones in a hive mindset. the borg drone’s ultimate goal is “achieving perfection” on performance evaluations, and is -ssimilated by violent means of corporate x management control, negative feedback, and the ultimate threat of termination in order to maximize the bottom line for the corporation. this ensures huge bonuses and job security for management.
2. a fictional alien race that appears as recurring antagonists in the star trek franchise. aside from being the main threat in first contact, the borg play major roles in the next generation and voyager television series, primarily as an invasion threat to the united federation of planets, and serve as the way home to the alpha quadrant for isolated federation starship voyager.
in either scenarios 1 or 2 above, resistance is futile.
i was -ssimilated as a borg drone and functioned in a hive mindset in a heinous corporation for many years.
