Brag Complainer
indirectly bragging about something via a complaint. the complaint usually is not genuine and is not where they want your attention drawn. the complaint is only used as a means to be able to talk about the thing in which they are bragging about, but without flat out bragging. brag complainers don’t know they have the affliction but are in desperate need of attention and this is one of the ways in which they know how to get it. very popular on facebook.
example: “ugh, i cannot believe i had to pay over $500 for service on my mercedes – benz.”
a non brag complainer would have left out the make of the vehicle.
