cadify
the act of using a computer aided drafting (cad) program to redraw hand drawn sketches and designs. the process often implies refining or working out an architectural idea, plan, elevation, section, etc. applies to other fields that use computer aided drafting such as, interior design, industrial design, engineering, etc.
1. architect hands some sketches to an intern and says, “hey, can you please cadify these sketches.”
2. after five years of architorture and three years cadifying drawings, i’m getting licensed so i can at least be a licensed cad monkey.
3. dude i’ve got a 2 year degree as an architectural technologist, and i can cadify a full drawing set with fewer errors in half the time as those 5 year degree guys. why is that?
