  when a company over -n-lyzes a problem that has an simple solution and won’t listen to the person trying to explain the solution. it was a cl-ssic case of complification; the managers met for hours and still couldn’t decide how to move employees from one building to another.

  the act of taking apart a piece of written material, usually from the center of the work for editing. the edited section is then replaced into the piece, hopefully making the written work better than the original. i absolutely despise compository splicing; i can never do it without messing up somehow.
