cosmoportism
‘cosmoportism’ comes from ‘cosmoport’ (see cosmoport). it is my philosophy of international education or the internationalization of the curriculum in the global village, which s a spider’s web-like world.
this philosophy is based on the understanding of the logical and natural link between ‘university’ or ‘univercity’ and ‘globality.’ ‘univercity’ or an authentic university is and must be a universal or global city.
“cosmoportism is a way of being, living, and acting in a world that has become a spider’s web-like place or a global village. that way must be based on a vested interest in, and commitment to worldwide world-ready learning and understanding” (zekeh gbotok-ma, “global safari.” cambridge scholars publishing 2015: 224-225; 233- 265; and gbotok-ma 2010: 23-31).
