coined by the web site earnalism.com. earnalism is the concept of things that surround the practice of journalism. from salaries of media members, journalists depicted in movies, television, and general popular culture, and essentially the lifestyle of a journalist.
an earnalist is someone who studies and/or practices the concepts of earnalism.
