famdram
short for family drama – every family has it. we all put on a good front for friends but in front of family every one lets everyone else know what is going in their lives whether we wanna know or not. famdram is especially prevalent at important family yearly festivities – christmas, birthdays, hanukkah. there is so much pressure for every one to get along as if everything is wonderful every other day of the year.
i don’t want to go to their place for dinner – there is always so much famdram happening you can’t even enjoy the meal. it’s like my knife is for cutting the steak and the tension in the air
