the overwhelming need or desire to have stronger/better ability to work with and manipulate technology. typically found in people with little or no technical ability, this condition can cause feelings of inferiority and inadequacy.
john: allen just doesn’t get it. he can barely turn his computer on and he wants to be a programmer.
chris: yeah, he has major geek envy.
