guranga taunk
skate boarding (slang/cheer). used as a sort of chant to (mentally/psychologically) (commit to/stick) a gap or difficult trick.
(also used to give praise to a successfully landed difficult gap or trick; like when pool/vert skaters smack the edge of their boards against the side of the pool or vert ramp when someone completes a difficult trick or run.)
– roger yelled “guranga taunk!” to prevent his friend carlos from thinking about bailing in the middle of an eight-stair gap, and he was there fore able to land the gap.
– carlos landed a 360 flip up a bank, so roger yelled “guranga taunk!” because it was very impressive for carlos to land such a difficult trick on an angled surface.
