term for a student who tends to highlight almost every part of an academic text he/she is reading, thus defeating the purpose of highlighting in the first place. typically people who are attentive students but can’t grasp the actual significance of what they’re reading.
tim was ashamed to find janie had indiscriminately highlighted virtually every sentence in her packet about kafka. it all made so much sense now. she was a highlighter abuser.
