a closed comprehensive school in the north east of england with a certain reputation for its students and staff, fights, hideous all-green and black p.e kit and pink cake and custard. closed in 2011 following tory-libdem government cuts in a bid to save a bit of cash to merge with nearby ryton comprehensive to form charles thorp comprehensive (which was never accepted by the last students to finish in 2012; hookergate 4 lyf).
