short for kathozoa noun (from the greek words kathos, meaning “like”, and zoa, meaning “animals”) a human with animal-like characteristics. similar to an anthro.
ichigo momomiya or zoey hanson in the english dub of tokyo mew mew (mew mew power) is an example of a katho (she is also known as a nekomimi or catgirl).
a human character with animal like features, such as ears or tails. they can also have animal like behaviors. (i.e. cat like kathos might have a exceptional liking to fish.)
