hatred and prejudice against people who don’t speak the same language as you,
the belief that specific languages or dialects you consider to be “foreign” are inherently inferior to other languages
i saw two different people who were speaking middle-eastern languages pulled aside for pat-downs at the airport today, but none of the people speaking european languages had to deal with that. i couldn’t believe they were allowed to get away with such blatant linguism.
