Makitok


the name in ancient language of a minor god, whose cult consisted in offering small everyday objects. such offerings came from all people in the village, including little boys and girls. makitok was served by priests who urged the population to -ssure his altar was never empty, organising a neverending flow of trivial parts of whatever nature. traces of this cult, even with other names, have been found in several sites and sources all around the world.
“hurry! we have to send parts to the altar by noon! choose an old, broken toy and some wasted remain of vegetables, and run to makitok’s temple!”
