MotoMochila
a unique type of off-road motorcycle riding that originated in baja california, mexico. the motorcyle rider completes a multi-day/long distance dirt bike ride, taking only a backpack (“moto”- motorcycle, “mochila”- backpack in spanish, or “motorcyle backpacking”) their motorcycle, while stopping/staying at different locations each night. usually, all that is taken with the rider, other than his motorcyle, is money, toiletries, a change of clothes, a jacket and defintely a camera. the rider usually stays in a differnet mexican town each night and completes a ride of up to 1000 miles over several days.
