neckt-tude: moving your neck from left to right and right to left several times in a loose fashion to add emphasis to what you are saying. some believe it occurs more often with the african american population, particularly females, and it may occur at the same time as one’s index finger moving back and forth. neckt-tude is the merging of the words “neck” and “att-tude”, and the words, “don’t go there, girlfriend” may accompany the head gesture.
dana was giving us neckt-tude when telling us that it was none of our business discussing her boyfriend issues.
