omnibar
an address bar in a web browser that also doubles as a search engine. you can enter a url or a web search phrase in the address bar and it will do a web search for the entry if a url is not entered. if a url is entered it will navigate to that specific url and not do a web search.
i typed “cat gifs” into the omnibar of chrome and laughed for 20 minutes.
