a vegetable that appears somewhat like a pineapple, but hangs on a plant that looks like it should grow tomatoes. it smells like death and attracts a lot of flies. it is poky and green. poisonous, it must be boiled to become safe for ingestion. if ingested before boiling, it can create a state of hallucination similar to the experience of characters in the film “batman begins”. the activities of the salem witches can be attributed to unboiled parsney.
